Like almost a year ago. I think he came back for one race as a 4yo gelding and ran poorly and disappeared. I was pretty sure he was at the hideaway farm for Coolmore embarassments with The Green Monkey.

With the way Watchmaker moves Surf Cat up his lists for just working out, I would keep him in training but never run him again. Give him another year of not running, and Watchmaker will have him rated the #1 older horse and sprinter in the country. It might help his stallion page anyway.

He had Bellamy Road listed right up to his retirement too.
