Ticket I just punched at the track

FG Pick 4 Races 6 - 9 All Stakes

Master Command w/ Naissance Royale, Hendrix, King's Drama and Einstein w/
Get Ready Bertie, Octave, and Appealing Zophie w/ Circular Quay, Liquidity and Imawildandcrazyguy

The scratch of Liquor Cabinet changes things no doubt, I prefered Liquor Cabinet over Master Command

I pressed Naissance Royale and Imawildandcrazyguy

Good luck everyone!

I played two P4s at FG

Pick-4 7,WT,1,5,6,7,9,11,WT,7,WT,2,7
Pick-4 7,WT,1,WT,3,4,7,8,WT,2,7

It's a tough spot for Heat of the Night but I love the prospect of getting him at double digit odds. I'm banking on either Ketchikan or Soaring By throwing up a big race in the La Derby. I'd love 7/1/7/2,7 since that would give me the P4 twice.

I am glad I saw their ad (Fair Grounds ad) in the DRF this morning cause I did not know they had the all stakes pick 4 since it is sandwiched in the middle of the card

Here's are my three stabs at the Fairgrounds Pick 4:

Ticket #1. 7 / 9 / 3, 7 / ALL = $16 (for the extra $2 I'll include Slews Tizzy)

Ticket #2. 7 / 9,11 / 3,7,8 / 1,2,4,5,7,8 = $36

Ticket #3. 1,7 / 7,9,11 / 3,4,7,8 / 5,7 = $48 (Just in case MC gets beat)

Total Wager = $100

Good Luck to everyone!

Well you sold me on Ketchikan, after I looked at his numbers, I just couldn't get away from him. Made him a single on my PK4 ticket.

Sorry! He ran a heckuva race though to run second when the 2nd through 4th horses early were the last three across the line. Showed a lot of heart when he fought back down the stretch even though CQ had a lot more in the tank.

No doubt, even in defeat he impressed, and moved forward. My PK4 was already history by that point so it didn't matter. Plus, the way he was used in the beginning of the race was not helpful. He wasn't allowed to settle and run easy. I'm guessing we'll see a different rider in his next start.

If you think about it, that was probably CQ's best 2 turn race to date, and he is in the elite of the crop so far, so for this horse to run second to him in his third start, beating many more experienced rivals, is not too shabby.
