Good question... you ship a horse in and it appears that your horse can go at 3/4 speed and still win and you scratch him? I was trying to think of possible reasons why the horse wouldn't win (see earlier question) and the only reason he shouldn't have won that race is if he went down... either Beattie didn't want to take that chance on that crappy track or?... your guess is as good as mine

DC, It was going to be about 17k paid workout for this horse.
Hopefully everything is fine with Green Suede Shoes and he
will be back soon.

Well, if I was an owner, not sure I'd let my trainer scratch a horse in that case, especially after shipping the horse in...
