Been watching this bad boy for a while. With the lightly raced weak 3 year old division it's any horse's game this year.

Other than a strong performance by Rags to Riches (Ravel too) we haven't seen much. And it's nearly March.

This is the horse that could explode on the scene and win his way into the gate as the posible favorite. Would Frankle put him in if he wins whhat looks like only2 more races.

While I agree with you. This is not the accepted approach. Dosent this horse, with outstanding performances, that can move up dramaticly. With all the more seasoned horses showing holes in thre resume. Isnt this the type of horse that can remove some of the age old angles?

I read somewhere last fall that people close to this horse said he potentially had "Ghostzapper-like" ability. I chalk that up to the Frankel connection more than anything (and if anyone wonders, I believe he's sired by officer, not awesome again).

Regardless, the future book at wynn had him drop from around 60-1 to 30-1 over the past two weeks, meaning there must be some buzz around him.

I suppose he could be the kind of horse you are talking about, but I guess the same could have been said about Pletcher's Soaring By before he made his first start this year and he lost. I loved Les Grand Trois' debut and think he can be a very, very good horse this year. But I highly doubt he will even have tried 2 turns by the time May 5th rolls around.
