On another note, is Gomez now the #1 for Pletcher? I noticed Johnny wasn't riding Todd's horses in the big races at Churchill this past weekend. [/quote] I was asking myself that question too last weekend. I thought maybe Pletcher had some sort of agreement to ride GG until the expected return date of JV but then JV came back early so maybe TP is just honoring a commitment? Any one know the answer?
