just got home and checked results from there today....still trying to determine how the Chester House mare in the 6th, trying turf for only the 2nd time ever, was allowed to go off at 32-1...especially with my main man Vern up. |

that horse has attempted N2X for some time now with no success, and has had little touch with any of the fields. Add that with a Sept. 06 layoff, no special works = 32-1. I couldn't bet him, especially when they had #3 dropping back from handicap company at GP, along with Sheppards horse on the outside, the Allen/Allen connection on the #1 (never know what those guys are gonna do). All in all, it was a pretty low priced day. Nothing really eye-popping with the exception of the 6 ruining the start of my PK4, mainly chalks won from there on out. oh yeah, i think it was the 9th race, they let Johnny V. on a 4-5 shot walk 24...50 fractions on the grass, funny and sad at the same time -bt- |

BT, While watching the race at the half mile pole, I said the same thing, I played the 6 Warrior Girl, she made a huge move to get alongside the Pletcher horse, but had nothing left when they sprinted home (50 half, 114 three quarters)... needless to say, I only played her win and place! The superfecta with the 4 horses I liked the most came back $1000, but nothing for me.
As far as the Marge S is concerned, her poly #'s were OK, but nothing that made me give her a second look, unfortunately. The Tampa jockey colony drives me nuts!!! |

Especially considering that she's out of a half sister to the dam of Kitten's Joy. |
