Without question, PVal has increidble talent. The demons may be greater and stronger than the talent, who knows. I am sure that the CA board realizes that with his license expiring and with no authority over him until he applies for a renewal, they will scrutinize his application even that much more. Don't forget, his license was conditional (or provisional, I don't remember the term used), and while this may have been a legal ping pong match in the past, I am sure that the Board may have a few new conditions for PVal, and understandibly so.

As an aside to this, like him or not, having talent or not, believe in 3 strikes you're out or not, having torn up some tickets or not, or for that matter having sympathy or not -- none of that matters. We are talking about an individual who has a sickness. I don't care about the debate that says it's his fault, or it's not his fault. The who is to blame is not really important. Let's hope the guy gets help and can win a lifetime battle against those demons. I for one hope I get to tear up tickets on horses he rides for a long time, but that's just me.

How many strikes should he get? I don't know.
