Well, the rider of AP Arrow had more than a right to keep him from taking his hole. Of course AP Arrow didn't start running until he got to the outside but that's another story.

I haven't watched the race carefully. I'm still pissed Invasor got through at all as I wanted Zito to win a Grade 1.

....and Testimony and Flemme De Passion. Somehow I don't think he brought his A game, B game, or C game that day.

Jara has certainly had some big wins, but overall he has about a 10% win percentage. I think that puts him in the average (mediocre) category

he shipped up from south america to florida, and then on to dubai. and he did suffer a sesamoid injury at some point before leaving south america.
at any rate, much travel, and from what i understand, a trip from hell in dubai--and was still charging at the end.
if he brings his a game, discreet cat better look out!

I missed watching this race today... (sick kid all day), but I was just reading the trip notes and it sounds like Heanoldsalt had a rough trip too. How did he look to you guys?

Caj, hesanoldsalt and ap arrow put in grade 1 peformances. I didnt bet to win because even im not that much of a degenerate to put over 1k on a 1-5 shot to win. Messing around at Tampa Bay I made a few nice tri hits, and in the Donn I just put a 200 exacta with hesanold. and a 10 dollar tri, 2 dollar super. The only big win bet I made was on Naissance Royal for 600. So I had a good day at the track, meltdown was averted

Invasor could have easily lost that race if the rail had not opened. Seattle must havehad his heart in his throat. By far the best horse but that is not what the chalk players wanted to see... a number of people must have been stroking out.
