Those "rules" are fair enough for anyone to follow -- they're general goodwill and common sense rules anyway!

Last weekend completely cemented my notion of the good things going on here at Derby Trail, with people representing themselves as who they really are and getting together to have a great time and talk horses and watch racing!

I'll predict 1600 members by the end of June. 2000 by Breeders Cup.

Hope the onrush of us Derby Trailers don't take too much advantage of Chuck at Saratoga. Although I can't wait to introduce myself to Chuck, it is imperative that we allow him to try to keep a sense of a regular training schedule (IF AT ALL POSSIBLE) while up at Saratoga....

My schedule at Saratoga
5:30 get to barn
6:00 to 10 train
10-11 make entries/paperwork
11-12:30 shower/listen to scratches and BTW on OTB
12:30-1:00 do inane chores because my wife said I had to
1:15 get to track
1:30-4:00 - get fed, entertained at the Carolinas BBQ by Byk and company
4:15 back to barn
5:20 watch stake and drive home before the rush
5:30-5:00 am eat, drink and be merry!
