$499 for the 4g plus a 2 year service contract. that means i'm tied up when the 2nd generation (and probably 3rd) come out.

i'm passing. it looks like a beautiful interface (what else is new with apple?) but i know i'll want to kill myself in 12 months when the newer even better 2nd gen debuts.
