I would be a little surprised that Derek Bell would feel the need to be in on a "rigged" race at Canterbury. He's been the leading rider there every year for like the last 5 or 6 years. The only reason he didn't win the riding title this past summer, was because he broke his wrist and missed half the summer. But he still had very solid stats for only being here for so long.

I just wish the public had more info on exactly the nature of these investigations. I know it involves a bunch of Florida riders regarding a race at Great Lakes Downs, but everything else is so vague and secretive. Either scrunge up some real info on these guys or let 'em ride. If they wanna keep the evidence secretive, the accused jocks should come public with the accusations to put heat on the people trying to keep them banned.

The best way to fix is for the fav to miss the board. Hard to make a nag run faster but a lot easier to restrain of cause the low odds horses to have trouble and miss the board.

A short field 6-7-8 horses with the 3 lowest odds horses missing the board equals a mega hit een at the small tracks . You dont need to have the winner pegged jus box the field without the top 3.

Wow, havent heard Seth's name in a long time , I remember when he rode his first schooling race in Denver he was so cute and all excited lil bug boy wanna be. He always had talent and his dad Dickey made sure it never went to his head .

I loved when he rode at Hawthorne last year (?) or the year before. He tended to use the whip a bit more than I would like to see, but he rode hard and gave lots of horses fighting chances that sometimes didn't deserve them.

I heard through the rumor mill that Seth's absence was substance abuse related. I don't know him personally but considering how frequent this is in that profession, I don't think it would be a shock.

Re: Seth, he may have the most vicious left hand windmill in all of racing.
