Thanks, I needed it pretty badly having not had a positive return for eleven weeks. Figured Rodriguez would probably run 3rd and beat me in the Belmont, but thankfully, didn't happen. Looked like it might for a moment there, but Baeza finally got it in gear and helped me out.

Nice ROI win cal. Dang wish I had gone with the win wager on Sovereignty.

Thanks Digger. Win or lose, I almost always have some regrets in how I bet. I guess that's universal among horse players. Maybe we can all make amends in the BC Cup where hopefully the two protagonists from the Triple Crown will meet again. Not exactly talking Affirmed and Alydar, but still a pretty entertaining Triple Crown this year.

It would be nice to see them go head to head sooner, perhaps in the Jim Dandy or the Travers; however, Journalism has certainly earned a freshening after his campaign, and McCarthy might prefer to keep him at Del Mar in anticipation of the BC.

It will be very interesting to see where Baeza runs next. Someone pointed out that he is still eligible for a NW1X, where he would probably be 1-100 or so.

Cal, I enjoyed your observation very much. In addition to buyer's remorse, should be also identify bettor's remorse?
