We've got some good stakes races to choose from this week. As much as I would love to return to Santa Anita, I think Gulfstream is where we probably need to be. If everybody is okay with that, we could include races 4 through 14 for an 11 race card.

Cal, I enjoyed the races at Oaklawn on Sunday. Coal Battle was pretty impressive.

It was a nice day. Not gloomy like so many days are this time of year. Fair sized crowd, but not really crowded like it sometimes is on big days. Maybe that was because it was on a Sunday. Oritz brothers did well as you would expect, but it was Jose this time and not Irad. Looked like for a minute that Baffert would add to his wins in the Rebel, but Coal Battle had other plans. Have to be honest though, I didn't have him. It will be interesting to see which of Baffert's horses will come for the Arkansas Derby.
