I've always been a sucker for those all stakes pick somethings that have a "guaranteed pool." Usually the actual pool exceeds the track guarantee and makes it moot.

My other sin is to try too hard to "have it", and dilute my ROI by using too many picks rather than making the tough decisions and excluding horses that I really don't like very much but who "might" be able to win. That can lead to hitting the pick something but getting a payoff that can be paltry or even less than the wagered amount. With the late pick 5 becoming what is in reality a pick 4, that could be the case today, but once a sucker, always a sucker.

Here goes:

Race 10
$1 pick 5: 4,5,10,14 / 3,4,5,7 / 1,2,8 / 2 / 4,9 ($96)
