The most recent changes on Equibase are timed 10:26AM Eastern, but only have first time gelding reports as of 5:00AM. No scratches listed yet. I'm sure that there will be some - I read the same DRF report and heard David Arrigone's timeform analysis that spoke of the scratch of #4. We'll have to wait.

Agree that Race 10 is a head buster. I believe that other head busters include races 1 through 9 as well as 11 and 12.

It only takes 3 or 4 races to make me crazy so I don't even bother with the early races. I included a couple of longshots in my play today. They are likely to turn out to be hallucinations.

Good luck to you however you choose. I'm planning to attempt a late pick 5, but am waiting for scratches to put it together. The presence of Timberlake makes the pick 5 tough. He will be odds on in the pools, and if ready has the talent to win in a walk. Could also need a race and be back in the pack. The pick 5 payoffs will be very different if Timberlake wins or not, so I'll need to play 2 different tickets; one with T as the winner and the other with a spread of several other contenders.

Thanks for the heads up guys. Still waiting for the scratches. BTW. Who do you like in the Saudi Cup. I'll be rooting for Senor Buscador. In the past I've had a few fantasy horses that were never the same after the trip to Dubai.

I think Arrogate was never the same after his trip to Dubai. He had to put in a tremendous effort to win in Dubai and seemingly that was the end of him as far as racing was concerned.

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Despite that, here goes my pick 5 array now that scratches are in and Ain't Life Grand is officially out of the Razorback.

It astounds me the number of times that my ROI ticket ends up costing $96. Wish I could add up all of the extra $4 amounts (at least to use for tolls).

Really surprised there is no Baffert entry this year. Not sure what that means. Maybe the Baffert barn not as stacked with contenders as usual?
