As a Dem, I must say I'm pleased that while everyone, including, I assume, most of the posters on this board, didn't say boo about the fact that the Republican-controlled Congress set up a two-and-a-half day workweek for themselves and maintained that schedule for YEARS, the moment a new, Democratically controlled Congress takes one day off for a combination of freshman orientation and football, immediately they are criticized. Proving once again that people really do expect Dems to be more honest and hardworking than they do Republicans. Tee hee.

Seriously, Danzig, while it was bad PR for Congress to do that, I'm not preparing to give up on them after a day. Let's see what the next few weeks brings.
