So, after being told that the stewards determined on Friday that the Hall of Fame Stakes could not be cancelled with the rest of the card conducted, how is that the 5th race could be cancelled today with the rest of the card conducted? The stewards seem to be just making stuff up as they go along, and NYRA bears the brunt of their poor/inconsistent decision-making.
It begs the question: who oversees the stewards?
