New York, New York (It's a Helluva Town). At least it was to a quartet of players. To others
it was a $200 skunking. You can't complain about the racing product though. 7 winning bets
were made with a few nice payouts. Digger takes the super spot with an all in on Forte. Don
nails the third spot with a nice Arabian Lion / Drew's Gold exacta in race 8 and just about
doubled his money. Joly B takes the place spot via the trifecta route in race 7.Though it was
short field Joly's array returned $547+ and a sweet profit on the Elmont afternoon. As good as
those payouts were it was Cal's day at the Big Sandy. With a no bout a doubt it win Cal ran
to the finish line with a $451 profit. In race 8 he hit a nice exacta which was good but not
enough to pass DonGuido. In races 9, 10, 11 and 12 Cal picked winners and a big pick 4
was his. Archangelo was the topping on the cake and his $366 pick 4 put him solidly on top.
While it doesn't get reflected on the totals Cal just missed on two other wagers so he was on
point the entire day. Nicely played Cal and congrats on your season leading 5th win. The
totals follow pending a clock violation on the scorer. See you all next week wherever our
points winner takes us. After the Triple Crown races the scent of Saratoga is in the air.
