![]() Yes, I was happy to see my approach to Race 7 worked out. Rarely do I pick the right race to play but this year I've been pretty lucky. I missed out on Cyberknife too and even though he was a Brad Cox horse (one of my key deciders in evaluating) Chad Brown (another key decider for me) seemed right with a 109 speed figure and being undefeated . . . but ya never know in this sport. My play for Race 7 came down to Joel Rosario, one of the hottest jockeys on the planet right now, especially on the turf.
The more I studied the PPs, the less I liked any horse. Jockeys and trainers enter in to my race analysis but usually take on a very minor role depending on the conditions. Sure woulda liked it to be real money, it woulda put a much bigger smile on my face. ![]()
