RQ, thanks for the best laugh I've had all day. I've heard that Canandaigua is beautiful this time of year and I'll bet that Don Guido also has lots of good memories of the Finger Lakes region, from Cooperstown all the way to the Letchworth State Park.

However, I think I'd prefer to follow the directions attributed to Red Smith, which read, "from NYC proceed about 175 miles North. Exit highway upon Union Avenue and go back 100 years." Not certain where that will take me, but I'd like to give it a try.
