If it's anything like this thread the entertainment factor alone would make it worth it. |

![]() I thought I was an educated man but my head is spinning and I havent been drinking. Maybe thats the problem.
The original post said 2/3/all boxed. so, 3,6/5,9,11/ALL box So playing for a $1 (11 horse field) 3,6/5,9,11/all - $66 3,6/all/5,9,11 - $66 5,9,11/3,6/all - $66 5,9,11/all/3,6 - $66 all/3,6/5,9,11 - $66 all/5,9,11/3,6 - $66 $396 total So this was the Florida Derby the tri paid $47.40 for $1 and it was not hit by this bet. Looking at that I guess you can win multiple times if you get lucky but I don't see the value in this bet consistently. Again I'm not big tri player only on derby day as I feel risk reward there is worth it. Last edited by knickslions2 : 04-06-2022 at 09:38 AM. |

As far as Mine That Bird, Giacomo, Country House. In order for this to work, you’d still need Musket Man combo’d with MTB. Musket Man was the 9th choice that day so you’d have to have him in that 2/3 slot. Not easy. When Giacomo won, Closing Argument was 2nd at 70/1. So you’d have to have either of those in the 2/3 slot. Seems unlikely. When Country House won, Code of Honor was the 6th choice and Tacitus was the third so that was doable. I almost had that trifecta with my relatives as we are going to keybox Tacitus with a bunch of horses but we ended up going another route. Long story short, this seems like a quick way to lose a lot of money. |

You couldn't even spell the guy's name right. The people going back and forth here have a lot of racetrack experience. We all know a grifter when we see one.
