|   Right it was Althea. I didn't bet her that day. I bet Gate Dancer. I said the race occurred 10 days later than this year's edition which makes no sense. 7 days, I think. I misremember a lot of things at my advanced age, but I do remember that it was sunny and very warm that day. Perfect day for racing which looks like what we are about to get on Saturday. |

|   I really don't do that much for it other than water it. Put it out on my deck this time of year and retrieve it into the house when the weather turns cold. I guess it must be a tropical or sub-tropical plant because it thrives in the hot summer time and puts on a lot of new leaves. You would think a lot of creepy crawlies would munch down on it, but they generally don't. I am amazed at its longevity. Had no idea a house plant could live so long, especially considering my ability to assassinate plants. |
