A lot of horses in the Risen Star would have been favored in here. Maybe these races have been bolstered in the past by big name Baffert horses, much better than the decent but currently underwhelming Newgrange, which has made them appear stronger than they actually were.

I thought that was super impressive by Secret Oath. Some anxious moments around the far turn but as soon as the path was clear, in what seemed like a blink of an eye, she shot clear and the race was over. My favorite trainer ever and I would absolutely be thrilled to see him with a major player in the big races.
