After a holiday break it's time to talk horse racing again. The pickings are slim on Saturday with Gulfstream, Oaklawn and Santa Anita in the mix. Aqueduct and Turfway have minor stakes. I would say Oaklawn is my preference, but you guys would probably take my Derby Trail membership away or send me a virus for my computer. I guess Santa Anita or Gulfstream, if we want to have at least one Graded Stakes. Of course, those races might come up a bit shy of entrants as they often do, especially Santa Anita.

Cal, I don't think that you need to worry about either of those acts of retribution for preferring Oaklawn. Even when they don't have a stakes filled card, the quality of the races is always very good and the fields are usually full. I also find Oaklawn a tough track to handicap - very few free squares on the card.
