This is a new contest for 2007 that may replace the winter contest and will focus on the Trail to the Kentucky Derby. Each week a list of stakes races for 3 year old horses will be posted and you will be asked to pick one horse for each race that you believe will be the winner. With this contest, after he won the KY Derby, you would be credited with an additional $116 - Winning points of $11.60 x 10 = $116).

You should make clear whether you will allow late-comers. Is there a cutoff week where it's too late to jump in and start making picks?

I like the way you've structured it, because missing a week can only hurt someone, not help. At least that's the way I'm interpreting your "bets". Nothing happens to my "score" unless my pick finishes in the money, right?
