![]() Kentucky Downs looks like a good venue even though its all turf racing. Could we eliminate race 11? I hate to end a day with a maiden race (however $135,000 for a MSW is mighty impressive). However if Joly wants to play a Pick 11 I would have no issues scoring it

![]() Know what you mean JB. I started looking at Saturdays card and being it's all turf with a myriad of full fields and also eligibles I'm already scratching my head. Good luck in your contest picking.

![]() Just finished watching today's first race.... much more of a European feel to the course; not just the same oval we are accustomed to seeing.
I would recommend that you watch a race or two today before handicapping Saturday's card - it may give you a better feel for what the races will be like - why certain fractions will be slightly slower because of the uphill run and the like. Also, the far outside was worn out from the last couple of days' racing, but the grass next to the rail was fresh. I think that the temporary rail will be either moved further inward or removed entirely for Saturday to provide a new fresh turf surface. Should be a fun, if difficult, track to play. |

![]() We have plenty of time to make our selections without badgering Don to make his decision right now. Be patient
