I was roasted on Twitter for asking about Nick.

I think in part because I had welcomed him on this Forum.

People assumed I either was taking a back handed stab at him or?

Well actually who knows or what. It's twitter.

To set the record straight I heard him call a couple last week and thought he sounded very good.

I was being genuine when asking who he was.

I had completely forgotten and wanted to give him props.

I have THE WORST long term memory. And I know other announcers who are the same.

True story.

Many years ago a Dr. told me that since I memorize and forget 10 horse fields ten times a day every 30 minutes. It cultivates a hyper acute short term memory.

However, the down side of that is it messes up my long term memory. He was 100% correct. That's the way it's played out.

My wife doesn't appreciate it much when we reminisce.

But it makes it fun to re-watch movies and re-read books.

Anyway, I think Nick is excellent and getting better everyday.

He's on his way to becoming an elite race caller.

Nick who? Tammaro? Meh nobody likes him anyway. He does seem to be able to remember the names of the horses during the race which is a plus if you call races. He sounds like another Stone wannabe to me

Did it happen to be a Dr. Kevin Nealon?

Another cause of this is standing under pear trees.
