Definitely some sort of infatuation.

Has a stride similar to his grandsire A.P. Indy but without the turn acceleration. Not sure if it was supposed to be a cakewalk for him, but he did have to reel in a loose-on-the-lead colt that had won two straight.

Curlin offspring seem to get better with age (if they stay in one piece) and the horse's 4th dam and 5th dam are blue hen mares with a wealth of stamina.

All bets are off though if West Point is the controlling interest in the ownership group.
