you're right about the Calder speed n fade transferring well in the cheaper races at Gulf.
I did see those two winners.... They must have had 40 people in the winners circle...
Goldberg was live on WMAQ from the track...
New paddock adjacent to the walking ring is an improvement...
They put up some more grandstand seating at the 1/16 pole. Actually a decent spot for the post parade. There's also an Arlington-type tent right behind it.
Had lunch at Chase on the 3rd floor. Pricey but decent. But, unless you are sitting in the first row of tables, you can't see the entire stretch since the VIP boxes almost totally block the view.
The giant fish tank in the slot machine room is all I had hoped it would be.
