I got a lot of satisfaction out of analyzing the sequence and putting the ticket together. I was pretty sure that it was just too thin at the back end but with the bankroll available what can you do?

Even with no real $$ on the line, after hitting the first 4 races it was agony to watch the next to last race when my top pick of Always Shopping appeared to be home and was nipped at the wire by a late closing War Like Goddess.

Cal, I was once involved in helping structure a pick 6 ticket for a group of casual horseplayers who were pooling their funds to take a shot at a mandatory payout day.
