![]() Congrats to you both on your shared win. Whatever you collectively choose will be just fine with me - with the BC looming on the horizon, it is kind of difficult for me to get too enthusiastic about any card of Saturday races that probably won't have any stars in the field; on the other hand, a good horse race can occur almost anywhere, sometimes in the least expected places.
I know that it is completely impractical for a number of reasons, and I'm not suggesting it, but isn't it a pity that we can't visit what will probably be the best racing in the world this Saturday morning, namely the British Champions Day at Royal Ascot, albeit without fans in fancy dress or the Royal carriages making a grand entrance. |

![]() Slim Pickins for sure. I looked at both Keeneland and Santa Anita. Santa Anita has the one turf route which is a Grade 3, but the rest of that card looks pretty bad. It has 5 Maiden Races so the Keeneland card might be a little better in that regard with only 3 Maidens. We could skip the first race at Keeneland with the short 5 horse field and start with Race 2 and add the G-3 from Santa Anita. That would total 10 races or we could skip, the first two races and just play 8 races at Keeneland. So what's the verdict? What does everyone think? Or would another venue altogether be better? I'm open to suggestions and I imagine Don is?
