Reylu Gutteirrez opens up 2 and grabs a hold like he’s on Seattle Slew....did he get nervous or was he just born to make poor decisions? If he just let that 8 keep rolling he would have been long gone and hard to find.

Definitely makes sense to think a horse who had an easy lead and was beaten around 20 lengths would’ve won if he went faster early. Especially when deep closers run 1-2.

Not that you know what you’re looking at anyway but he broke fine, he got sandwiched by the 8 and 10 after the break.

He also didn’t get stopped on the turn either. He rode a flawless race, just like he did in the first.
