I know that I'm going to regret doing this - it makes no sense at all, since the $100 bankroll just isn't large enough to properly cover a pick 5 in races that are as competitive as the 5 stakes races at the end of today's card. With a proper bankroll, I would have played Vault with much more depth and found a way to include Silver Dust. Both of them seem very live at decent prices, but there was just no room on the ticket. I would never hear the end of it if Awe Emma pulled an upset. Despite our ROI constraints, I still can't stop myself from having a go at 5 stakes races that all have the look of grade 2 guality. I guess I shouldn't whine - Twin Spires is offering a Freeroll contest for a share of a $5K pool in which ALL you need to do is hit all 5 of these with one cold pick.

Thank you Cal. It was fun to watch that play out. I was pleasantly surprised how generous the payoff was, given that the first 4 winners were all ML favorites.
