This is West Virginia we are talking about. RQ wouldn't need any catnip ladened products for inspiration; there are plenty of "hollers" where they brew potent beverages while the moon shines.

It is a superb card at Saratoga, with the Whitney the Test, the Lure, the Troy and the De La Rose. All are worth watching and I'll bet a number of us will do just that. If you participate in publichandicapper.com, their 4 contest races tomorrow are all from the Spa, including the Whitney.

Fortunately, there are a number of equally fantastic Saturday cards upcoming at Saratoga; next Saturday will feature the Fourstardave, then the Alabama the following Saturday, and of course the amazing card on Travers day. I have every hope that we will spend several (or lots) of our Saturdays at the Spa before the meet ends.

I happen to be one of those who thinks that adding races from other tracks as a "bonus" is not necessarily a great thing for our contests. It clearly makes more work for the scorers, and for those who like to spend time thoroughly analyzing each race, just adding additional races can be a negative rather than a positive. Just my opinion - I'm sure not everyone shares it.
