I really do believe if people just saw video of pre-race testing/matching protocol they would feel a lot better about the well-being of the animals.
Heck going on the casual tour at Santa Anita was enough to convince my wife. But as I have said before, "oh those poor horses," does more to push political action than 12 hours of reason.
