![]() Insult, meet Injury
https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-rac...rby-infraction What an absolute travesty. What are the chances of someone gets 15 days out of an obscure infraction that the stewards didn't even see? |

![]() I finally watched the video. Freeze-framing at specific points on the turn to show that War of Will or Country House moves lanes doesn’t really prove anything. Not a bad attempt but I’m not sure it shows that the stewards were incorrect.

![]() I've watched it from 3 different angles: Grandstand side, infield side, head-on. I wonder if there is an overhead shot? Seems like that might reveal whether the fault is Gafflione's or not?

![]() Even though the horse was rightly DQ’d I don’t think Saez should be suspended. Some of the hyperbole in this thread is humorous though.

![]() The thought that Gaffalione is at fault is mind boggling to me. Anyone thinking that either bet MS or is overdue for an eye exam.

![]() Where did Gafflione ever have room to make that move ? If he stays put, he might have won. He came out where there was not room. Is he not up Saez’ Ass while max security is still in the 2 path ?

![]() what Tom said...this is unfair basically because the horse shied and ducked out and Luis was able to correct the horse's path very quickly...unfair to the jock, this wasn't an issue of purposely herding to gain an advantage. For the record and The Who Gives a $hit Club, I agree with the DQ

Saez, who is currently riding at Belmont Park, was represented at the May 10 film review by Louisville, Ky., attorney Ann Oldfather. Oldfather, who was not allowed to address the stewards at the May 10 session, had presented the stewards with a video that made the argument other riders and horses caused or contributed to the foul. The stewards offered no assurances they would view the video. |
