He's 72 or 73 years old, and could pass for 78. This was his best chance to win a Derby. He repulsed three huge bids in this race. He has nothing to prove to anyone. I wouldn't race him. The point needs to be made that dq's should be reserved for elevating horses that were clearly kept from what otherwise would of been a top placing in the race. That is more important than winning any other race.

The way this was done is making it totally a matter of luck. If he'd of fouled horses than were good, he could of still gotten 3rd money. Because he fouled horses that couldn't get 10f, he got put all the way down to 17th. How is that ( in any way) a standard of punishment?
