I don’t know much about Mark Casse but I’d assume he’s got a capable staff underneath him that helps him manage and train the horses.

Casse has like 400 fewer starts than Asmussen this year and something like 100 fewer horses. And Asmussen isn’t first in starts. That distinction belongs to Karl Broberg, who currently has a 28% win rate and 58% ITM rate.
