Points and ROI Totals through The Belmont June 9, 2018

So my apologies for getting so far behind but the new job and traveling just got in my way. The totals are 99.9% accurate and as you can JolyB knocked them dead over the past three weeks and with a Repeat and double points on Belmont day he surges to the lead!!! And most in the top 6 had good days as well.

I'll get back my normal forum self soon and do a better job of keeping this current. Lets see how we fare at Churchill and most of all thanks for playing. And please keep those cards and letters coming in.

Points and ROI Totals through June 23, 2018

No changes in positions and lots of added points to dole out over the past two weeks. JolyB holds on to the lead, Ruffian hangs tough in the 2 hole and Real Quiet maitains the 3rd rung of the ladder. DonGuido gaining some on the top 3 but stays in the 4 hole while Plenilune and Cruzan stay pat with nice points gains as well. Indian Hemp and Roamin are on the move with a share of the winner's points for ROI on 6/23.

Status in time (if anyone cares): JB is on track, in fact a month ahead of DG pace at this time last year, to eclipse the record points total of 565 DG ended up with last year. BTW JB ended up with a not to sneeze at 508 total last year and with right at 4 months to go to Breeders Cup.

Points and ROI Totals through July 7, 2018

So we had a little movement these last two weeks as JolyB continues to lead the pack with two 2nd's in Pts while Ruffian stays within striking distance adding nicely to here total. DonGuido starts to find his groove and takes the prize for the big move nailing a REPEAT and jumps over RQ to take on the 3 hole. Real Quiet adds minor points but slips a rung in 4th and Cruzan reaps rewards for his nice gains in each of the two contests.

NJ Stinks takes in minor points hanging tough in 7 hole as Roamin and Banter hang on to their positions. Thanks for playing as we get closer to those great racing days at The Spa and Del Mar!

Ruffian stays pat on the second rung of the ladder adding points for a show position in the Points contest. Real Quiet takes on minor honors in both contests and hangs tough in the 4 hole while Plenilune has a stellar day in the Points Contest and adding a place showing in ROI. Roamin registers a great showing with a humongous win in ROI and nabs the place spot in Points as well.

And I am happy to add Cal288 to the points totals board. I bet Cal288 can't wait to have some more fun this week. And keep those cards and letters coming in.

Hardly and movement except that Cal828 jumps over EP to take over the 12 spot. JolyB maintains the lead with excellent scores in each contest DonGuido gains a little ground in the 3 hole while RealQuiet adds to his total as well getting very comfortable on the 4th rung of the ladder. And Banter nails the win in ROI adding nicely to her score.

Thanks for playing and sorry but it's hard in my mind to Justify the rest of the year without watching him run. I understand why they had to do it, but . . . well . . . enough said. Let's enjoy this wonderful sport at the Spa and Where the Turf Meets the Surf for the short period we can.

OK, it appears the JolyB is putting on his professor hat again at the Spa and easily pulling away from all of us as Ruffian adds minor point as does DonGuido both stay pat in their positions. Real Quiet hits a nice 2nd in ROI to creep closer to DG and Cal828 adds points for 2nd place honors in the Pts contest.

It's looking like JB has the Spa all figured out, so we can say bye bye and play for bridesmaid honors the rest of way to the Breeders Cup. Lets see how the Aug 4 results add up. I know the Spa is not being kind to me . . . but then again what's new???

Points and ROI Totals through August 4, 2018

JolyB is putting on a Secretariat-Belmont performance with the first THREE PEAT of the year adding "gobs" of points to his leading status while Ruffian continues to add nicely to her totals as well gaining points in each contest. Real Quiet hits a first in ROI and a second in Pts which allows him to leap over DG to regain the 3rd rung of the ladder and Cal828 keeps climbing the ladder in the lower tier.

Is a FOUR BAGGER in the mix for JB? Never been done before but if anyone can do it, JB can . . . we'll see as we take to Arlington Park this week. Thanks all for playing and keep those cards and letters coming in.
