In addition to today being Florida Derby Day, it is also the mandatory payout day for the Rainbow Pick 6. Since it was not hit on Friday, the carryover will be just over $4,750,000. I'm sure that many formal and informal syndicates are forming to attack this payout. The pool is expected to be close to $20,000,000 by the time the pick 6 sequence starts in Race 9.

Most of the syndicates are probably trying to assemble at least a thousand or more to have any realistic chance of hitting the pick 6. Anything less than that is close to throwing your money away. Flying in the face of that wisdom, I'm going to invest my cyber dollars in the Rainbow 6, knowing that the chances are VERY slim. With apologies to RQ, here goes (never done this before in an ROI contest):

Race 9:
All are $0.20 pick 6 wagers

Ticket #1: 1,2,7 // 3,7,9 // 2,3,10 // 2,3,4,6,9 // 8 // 1,6,8 ($81)

Ticket #2: 1,7 // 3,7,9 // 2,3,10 // 3,9 // 2 // 1,6 ($14.40)

Ticket #3: 7 // 7,9 // 2,3,10 // 3,6,9 // 8 // 7 ($3.60)

Total: $81 + $14.40 + $3.60 = $99
