he may have not had the same successes...he's a legend, so it worked out in the end.

Fantastic race! I love the training course they have, especially the uphill woodchip track. Deb

I know, but isn't it absolutely incredible that two of the top 3 finishers are by Sunday Silence and the one that wasn't was his grandson? It makes me wonder what he would have done over here...

Deep Impact is an amazing horse... I'm so happy he won his last start.

he's the danehill of japan...it really is something, and makes me wish all the more that he, like danehill, wasn't lost when he was. still had plenty of years ahead of them, they were 17 and 18 i believe when they died. they both accomplished quite a bit in the time they had.

and hasn't it just been an amazing year? we've been lucky enough to see a higher than usual amount of very talented horses all year long.

another ridiculous win against classy opponents. his last 600m was timed in 33.8 s which is a heck of a time considering he was eased down and it was over 12 1/2 f... this guy is just brilliant, sad to see him retire. Another crack at the Arc and winning it would mark him down as a sensational international superstar, but, alas, we cant have everything..
