Finally won an online contest.......#7 Leafy Shade screamed for distance and she finally got it today.

2 steeplechase races at Belmont for Thursday 9/22...... I hope the Novice race fills (Novice was cancelled 2 times at Saratoga)...here are conditions.

(Novice Hurdle Stakes)
Purse $75,000. Hurdle. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have
not won over hurdles prior to March 1, 2015 or which have never
won three races, other than three-year-old. Four-year-olds, 144 lbs.;
older, 150 lbs. Winners, other than maiden, claiming, starter or threeyear-
old: 3 lbs. extra for each race won.
Two Miles and One Quarter over National Fences.

THE LONESOME GLORY STAKES (Grade I)
(Hurdle Stakes)
Purse $150,000. Hurdle Handicap. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward.
Weights are influenced by current NSA Ratings. Nomination fee $250;
$1,250 additional to enter; with $1,500 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Half over National Fences.
