Beholder ended up with $791,273 of the $854,498 show pool. (92.6%). That's a $108K minus pool. Many tracks would have cancelled show betting when the scratches reduced the race to 5 entries, with a strong fav like Beholder.

![]() $108K was the extra amount needed just to pay off the Beholder show bettors. I forgot about the money to pay off the show bets on the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. According to Bloodhorse, the total minus pool was over $160K.
