Douglas Situation Update..
The Rene Douglas 'rule off' situation continues to evolve and it appears there may be a great deal of residual fallout to it... NO ONE, except Calder senior management and potentially those involved in the specifics, is prepared to reveal the motivations behind the action taken yesterday barring Douglas from the Miami oval...
With no details being released, rumors are rather rampant at Calder and beyond, but strong suggestion has been made that what is behind the ban of Douglas has nothing to do with his work at the CDI-owned circuit.. There are a number of potentially accurate details in this that have come forward, but until a quoteable on-the-record source is willing to provide specific details, it appears idle to speculate further...
