I'm confused by the noms for the 6th at Pukekura Raceway on Saturday. Is that a match race or a mistake or am I hallucinating?

That's a bit of a weird one. It's a consolation for the main race on the card, the Interprovincial. So it will fill up with the horses that miss out on the field for that race.

Some fun trials at Taupo and, while they were only trials, it sure was nice to see Graphic looking so good.

Amazing fields for Hastings on Saturday. A wonderful group in the Makfi, and I think the 3yo field is an outstanding line-up as well.

Hasselhoof's making his highly anticipated third start up at Ruakaka too.

Just saw the field for the Makfi.... absolutely incredible!
