most likely Chapa would still be riding...and buzzing if it was not for the photo and the photographer reporting the sighting

when chapa saw it, he actually requested the photo be taken down--that it 'didn't look good'.

Anyone have a list of the 53 jockeys?

Hard to believe that 53 jockeys were caught in thoroughbred racing and got lengthy suspensions yet no one can name more than a handful?

One guy gets caught and it makes national news.

I highly doubt the Grey Rag could name the jocks "caught."

Fined $100k

"Chuck Trout, executive director of the Texas Racing Commission, used his authority under commission rule 309.67 to increase the fine against banned jockey Roman Chapa to $100,000 in connection a ruling earlier this week that handed out the maximum penalty – a five-year suspension and $25,000 fine – that stewards could apply for possession of a prohibited electrical device in a race."

I watched that race again. Clearly some shenanigans after the finish line. Day had to be in on it. Never investigated? Pretty obvious something was handed off.

Hate the source but this certainly seems legitimate. Disturbing how they just laugh about it.

I think you and Alabama Stakes should launch your own investigation. Let us know how it works out, k?
