Texas ADW

Does anybody know of the status of twinspires fight with the State of Texas for ADW? Have any Texas players on here found any alternative methods of playing the ponies from home? I am over two hours away from any track here in Texas and this has really tied my hands for being able to play. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
