Besides for the TC races, is it done for any other races? I understand the need to do it for TC, but realistically for any other race card during the year (besides BC), would this move generate enough money in the pools to even make it worthwhile? My thinking is that the majority of handicappers/players want to see the conditions, changes and odds before being locked in to a ticket. I could understand the concept of liking a horse the day before and wanting to get it in (win bets), but truthfully I would think that the majority of players would have access to getting a bet in on race day if needed. Personally I just don't think that there's a large segment of players that would use this feature if it was available.
