Had to go to Little Rock one day. Truck starts making a little noise or at least I thought I could hear a little noise. Took it to a Ford dealer over there. They said brakes were going out and needed new 2 new tires on the front. Said it was "dangerous" to drive. Wanted $750 for the 2 new tires alone. I thought it was all BS, but was a little afraid to drive it. Took it to a mechanic I knew. He said absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes. Tires were worn, but not critically so. I think I put another 10k miles on them and then replaced all four for about $800.
