The problem is the NY stewards don't care about herding at all. Time and time again they have shown they don't consider herding a foul, which makes absolutely no sense. I have said it before, eventually someone is going to get hurt and then these idiots will be forced to look into herding. Until then, all of the jocks know they can get away with it, and will continue to do it.

Hoss and I have been complaining about this for a long time. People can accuse me of having sour grapes, but I think what Hoss said is 100% right. I find it hard to believe that I am crazy for thinking that JV knew his horse was tiring and took him right into Junior's path as he saw the 2 mounting a run and intimidated that horse to stop his charge. Someone is going to get really hurt one day and they might pay attention to it then, but I guess you can't blame JV when the stewards let him get away with it.
Having said that, Junior should send out a search party for his jock strap on the track as Hoss is spot on that JV race rode Junior and made him look like an amateur out there.
